Marx,Religion and Poor

 I still wander the statement given by Karl Marx,"When poors are availed all the basic necessities, they don't need religion".

Well...we all formed religions so that we could get a spiritual path...that's pretty hard thing to say but..we formed religions so that we accepted the way which they prescribed and the next is somewhat the birth gift.

Nowadays most of the people are being atheist..the reason?..they are availed the basic necessities and most of the atheists today you see,is the youth. Now you argue that the older generations were also availed basic necessities,why didn't they turn into atheists???

I would say the question is nice and very heroically answer it(as if I only know the answer). Actually the reason is,they were more faithful towards God than we are...they were more ignorants for logic . I don't mean they lacked logic.They were very logical but they didn't mind ignoring to put logic in this context...in simpler terms,we can say that they were more superstitious. 

So coming to the main topic,the statement is quite true in context with today's generation...I think Marx stated this in context with today's generation. To deal with not getting basic necessities, people turn to both things beside themselves- Government and God. Most of the people believe more in God than the Government. This applies to the case of a good democratic govt. And the thing about bad government is even worse.

So people turn to God in every situation whether it is good or bad but mostly it is bad  and as per you know that God is the other name of religion so that turns towards the God to deal with poverty, pray God for good of themselves and in some cases if there is a miracle which is good, happens to them they thank the God that He has done it, so in this way if we all are availed basic necessities then we would not remember God because don't they say- In the bad times we recall God.
